Mr. Jaures J. ROBERT attended the Frères Paulin Catholic Elementary School in Haiti where he received a solid education based on strong moral values and self-discipline. He was only fourteen when the New College Bird high school’s orientations test revealed that the young Jaures met all the conditions to becoming a successful business entrepreneur.
No one ever escaped his destiny! At seventeen, still in high school, he was running the nation’s capital through its hotels, clinics, and stores marketing the brand-new Lemisol, a beauty and cleaning Dominican product range. In order to manage his sales, he attended a private business school where he learned the basic principles of accounting. A few years later he will get a Bachelor Degree in Business Accounting at the “Institut de Gestion et de Comptabilité”, a private University.
Pragmatic and strong-minded, his philosophy is “action”, which means for him: “sales, sales, sales and the right people to manage it.” When asked about his vision for any successful enterprise his response is always the same: “There is no limit on how big you can become once you can guarantee the quality of your product and the truthfulness of the Statements around it”. If a product doesn’t meet those requirements, he moves to the next one.
His journey will take him to Rhodes Island in 1996 where he markets the brand-new Alpine Air Purifier, the first ozone-releaser air cleaner and to New York in 1998 with Quixtar, a network marketing firm. His major sales accomplishment for this network company over a 6-month period will be recognized in Virginia where he is decorated besides other successful entrepreneurs.
In early 2000, he will seize the great marketing opportunity that brings out the telephone deregulation over local calls and will launch the new Z-Tel line of Optimal Telecom. On less than a one-year period, he will make over 1000 customers in direct sales only, which represents an average of 3 customers per day. That’s how he earned his nickname of “salesmonger” by his close associates. He will be raised to the highest rank by this company and will be responsible as an MSC (Master Sales Contractor) to train more than 500 ISCs (Independent Sales Contractors) all over the U.S.A year later, when the energy deregulation occurs, he will help launch the new Option Energy natural gas and energy alternative and in early 2002, will successfully market in the Caribbean the new BioChoice Immune Support and Immune26 from Legacy for Life.
n January 2003, the Trade Division of TWIDCO responsible for the importation of a new brand coffee name from Haiti will appoint him as a Sale Consultant in its marketing effort throughout the U.S. A few months later he will become the Director of Sales of this Division. His passion and vision for the Haitian coffee, make him the right person to lead the Coffee Division. In August of 2008, Mr Robert was promoted to Vice-President of Business Development and Corporate Executive Vice-president in November 2009.
